Wiise has been awarded Finalist for Microsoft’s 2019 Dynamics 365 Business Central Partner of the Year Award. Why is this a big deal?
The Microsoft Partner of the Year Awards are given to partners who demonstrate excellence in innovation and outstanding success in implementing customer solutions based on Microsoft technology. With over 2,900 entries from a whopping 115 countries, this is a huge achievement for Wiise and a reinforcement that we’re on the right track and here to make a difference. As the only Australian partner to be a finalist in the Business Central category globally – we couldn’t be prouder.
With businesses facing frequent and more complex challenges amongst an ever-evolving digital backdrop, it’s easy for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) to get left behind. Traditional Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions like Oracle, Netsuite or SAP are prohibitively expensive for most SMBs. Instead, many of these businesses rely on a patchwork of accounting software solutions such as MYOB, or Xero, plus a series of third-party applications. But, these independent apps often don’t connect effectively, can become costly to manage and on-premise software is commonly outdated and unreliable. SMBs are spending more time reconciling systems and less time on building their businesses.
With this in mind, in 2018, KPMG Australia, Commonwealth Bank and Microsoft Australia partnered to address the key concerns and challenges facing SMBs in Australia. After conducting extensive research, we then set to work developing a solution, that solution is Wiise.
Built on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC) and tailored for the Australian market, Wiise levels the playing field, providing SMBs in Australia with access to the same tools traditionally reserved for big businesses. Wiise is an affordable end-to-end business software with banking integration and built-in analytics and reporting, alongside accounting, HR, payroll, inventory and manufacturing functionality. With all of this integrated in one product, Wiise helps businesses of all shapes and sizes streamline processes and get clarity over their business, giving back more time to focus on what really matters.
Big progress in a short time
So here we are, not even a year later after launch and we’re globally recognised as a partner who demonstrates a unique offering within the Microsoft ecosystem. Whilst not the winner, this is a huge boost of confidence that the work we’re doing here at Wiise is making a difference to SMBs all around Australia.
And we’re not done yet. Our vision is to give every business access to the tech, insights and wisdom they need to thrive in an ever-changing and complex business environment. This year alone, we’ve implemented a number of game-changing functions such as landed cost for importers, an Igniite setup package to help businesses get started for $2,000, through to timesheet integration between projects and payroll to save double handling – more to come in the future.
We’re extremely proud to be recognised as a global finalist for the Business Central category and cannot wait to continue enhancing Wiise as a solution, so that we meet the needs of businesses of all shapes and sizes.
A HUGE congratulations to the whole team, this would not be possible without all your hard work.
The award will be presented in Las Vegas this July at Microsoft Inspire, Microsoft’s largest annual cross-border partner-to-partner networking event. Champagne will definitely be in order!
Once again, thank you to our team, our partners and our amazing customers. We couldn't have done this without you.
