It’s not every day you get to celebrate a first birthday as a business. In fact, it only happens once.
And just like every birthday to come, it’s an opportunity to reflect on and of course celebrate the year that’s been. In the case of Wiise, turning one is more than just about acknowledging our achievements over the past year. It’s realising our goal to solve some of the key challenges facing small and medium-sized businesses across Australia.
In August last year, Microsoft, KPMG Australia and Commonwealth Bank partnered up to launch Wiise. A cloud accounting and operations solution aiming to help small and medium-sized businesses access the tools and insights larger corporations have in ERP software, but at a fraction of the cost.
By taking the strength of Microsoft’s Business Central platform and then building on top of it, we created a solution specifically tailored for the Australian market. With added features like integrated banking including a click-to-pay feature and bank feeds, landed cost and Single Touch Payroll, Wiise is helping solve some of the key challenges facing Australian SMBs.
And that’s just the start.
Over the past year, we’ve continued to develop our offering, resulting in some big wins. This includes the release of a new pricing package for not-for-profits, the initiation of a strategic partnership with rhipe to build a partner ecosystem, and becoming a finalist for Microsoft’s Business Central Partner of the Year award. We’re now building out extra features to meet the needs of businesses from key industries and leveraging the expertise of KPMG Australia and Commonwealth Bank to bring more, to small and medium-sized businesses across Australia.
So with one year down the track, there’s certainly a lot to celebrate!
A big thank you to our team, partners and our customers for joining us on this journey. As we continue to develop our product, we’re excited for what’s to come. Stay tuned…
