Can I see all item related transactions?

Yes, Wiise tracks all transactions related to an inventory item, such as purchases, sales, adjustments, and transfers via “Item Ledger Entry” records.

Can Wiise handle multiple locations?

Yes, Wiise allows the management of inventory across multiple locations, and it can track inventory movements, transfers, and stock levels for each location individually.

Does Wiise allow negative inventory?

Wiise allows you to configure whether negative inventory is allowed or not. If allowed, Wiise will let you sell or consume items even if the on-hand quantity is zero or negative.

What are the different costing (inventory valuation) methods available in Wiise?

Wiise supports several costing methods, including FIFO (First In, First Out), LIFO (Last In, First Out), Specific, Average, and Standard Cost. Each method affects how inventory costs are calculated and reported on financial statements. LIFO is not accepted as a costing method in Australia/New Zealand.

How can I analyse inventory performance in Wiise?

Wiise provides several tools for analysing inventory performance, such as inventory valuation and item availability reports. These tools help you monitor stock levels, identify slow-moving items, and optimise inventory management practices.

Is it possible for the same item to have different average costs at different locations?
